Artwork
Our designers are very experienced and will be more than happy to help you come up with a unique design that all club members will be proud to wear.
To help speed up the design process and to get the best possible result, we have a few tips:
If you don't know where to start with a design then give us a brief, send your logo and club colours, then we'll put together a concept for you to consider. At the very least we will need all logos (ideally in 'vector' format (".eps" format) and 'pantone' colours to be provided. If you don't have these we can assist, but building logos from scratch can take extra time and there may be a cost associated with this. Sometimes ideas or a theme for your design can stem from your logo and colours.
Once the design is finalised you will need to provide written confirmation of your approval. Typically, we expect the design approval process to take at least a couple of drafts.
All our artwork is stored in our customer database so we can reproduce or modify according to your needs at any time in the future.
Colours
To help us complete your order as close as possible to the desired colours, the colour chart on this page can assist. Please note however that colours may vary significantly from what you see on the screen to what you see in the final printed fabric. If you have a very specific colour requirement it is recommended that we get a sample from you and/or we produce a sample first before placing your full order.

To help speed up the design process and to get the best possible result, we have a few tips:
- Checkout the Albums on our Facebook page social media sites for some of our original designs, which can be modified or adapted to suit your needs
- Consult your members about what they like or dislike about their current uniform
- Browse the internet for ideas. Look for elements of specific sports uniforms and take a screen shot, or make a note so we can incorporate into your own customised design. Note, we are aware that replicating existing designs has copyright implications, however we are happy to use other designs for ideas to work from.
- Use the talent within your club. You may have some budding fashion designers or artists who can give your some ideas.

Image Library - Backgrounds & Other Graphics
If you are looking for a suitable background or special images for your designs, we can provide you with complimentary access to the entire Shutterstock image library. All you need to do is follow these simple instructions:
- Go to shutterstock image library (Stormin has a licence to download images from this site).
- Do a keyword search, then “filter” the results to ONLY search for “Vector” images. Vector images are usually the most suitable for sublimation print designs.
- If you are looking for a background pattern, it can be helpful to use the word “seamless” in the key word search. This means the image can be joined together to create a more detailed pattern (a bit like using tiles which have a linking pattern).
- Don’t choose images which are too complicated with multiple colours or graphics, special effects, or blended colours. These types of images are usually not suitable for sublimation printing. If you're not sure whether an image is suitable, please feel free to ask.
- So long as the image meets the above criteria, substituting colours can usually be achieved.
- Make a note of the reference number.
